Probstei - Museum in Schonberg - A must see!

This is the front of the Museum. The literature i found said that it is open May 13th thru October 31 from 2pm to 5pm Tuesday thru Sunday. We went out to SchonBerger Strand (beach) and had lunch while we waited for it to open. I think it was 2 Euros per person for admission. This is the traditional "Bauernhof " which means barn house.

Traditional dress of the region.

Incredible inlay woodworking and many other crafts!

This map shows you the typical layout of these small villages. A
common center with the houses around the green. Over time the centers had roads/or paths in place leading to common buildings/schools.

This map show the 20 villages in the Probstei district.
